Power night, which would have been this Sunday, has been cancelled.   BUT First Sunday is still happening, only earlier in the evening.  Join us at 5:00pm this Sunday for communion, prayer and fellowship.

THERE’S A RACK FOR YOUR COAT AND HAT

At the Brookville Campus, we really do have a place for you to hang your coat and hat.  It’s not in plain sight when you walk through the front doors, but it is easy to find.   Just walk straight ahead and you’ll find it in the hallway by the restrooms.  We encourage everyone to use the coat rack so you don’t have to hold your coat on your lap during the service, or drape it across an empty chair.   This will help free up some needed seating for folks attending the services at The Ridge. And you won’t have to worry about it falling off your lap when you stand to sing!

MEMBERSHIP CLASS AT BROOKVILLE CAMPUS FEBRUARY 7th

Are you interested in becoming a member of The Ridge? If so, we have an upcoming membership class you can attend on Sunday, February 7th at the Brookville Campus from 10:15 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Childcare will be available.  Lunch will be served to those attending the Membership classes. “CLASSIC CLIPS” AT THE RIDGE

Saturday, February 20th,  we will have The Ridge “Classic Clips” night at the Brookville Campus immediately after the 5:15 service.  Come enjoy an evening of the old clips from past message series’.  We’ll have plenty of popcorn for everyone. Please bring a 2- liter of soda to share.  Come, sit back and enjoy your favorite clips and share a few laughs!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW

Plans are under way for Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2010 at The Ridge.  Be sure to save these dates: July 11 thru July 15. It will be held in the evening again this year. VBS at The Ridge is a tremendous outreach project and an amazing program that you may want to learn more about –  for you and your children.  Watch for more information in future E-news communications.

CHANGES COMING IN E-NEWS DISTRIBUTION

Starting February 10 we will be using a new system for distributing the Ridge E-News. You should have received an email recently requesting your approval to continue receiving the E-News and other correspondence from The Ridge via email. It is very important that you respond to that email. As of February 16, we will no longer be able to correspond with an email address that has not responded to that email or directly requested to be on our mailing list. If you did not receive this email or you have accidentally deleted it please let us know at communications@ridge.tv . Thank you.

THINK SPRING BUT BE AWARE OF OUR INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

We have less than 50 days until Spring but there’s probably still plenty of winter weather ahead. In preparation for this bad weather, we wanted to remind you about our inclement weather policy. If the decision is made to close the church, we will put a voicemail message, at www.ridge.tv and on WHIO TV channel 7. So, if there’s any doubt, check it out at either of these two locations.
